This piece is dedicated to my dear childhood friend Michelle Ramsay-Fraser who passed away a few years ago from Lupus Disease. She was only 24-years-old. At age 17, we performed Shakespeare's Scottish Play together over twenty times all over the UK, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and in New York. "Hereafter" is my salute to her and my attempt to put my wonderful friend into musical notes as Shakespeare did with his poetry.
